Sharing Stories

In high school, I would travel at every opportunity and a pattern emerged early on. I would never come back with many pictures or souvenirs. Instead, I would come back with new friends and their stories. That's carried into my adulthood.  I still travel a lot. I still forget to take pictures.  However, through these travels, I've come to learn that people across the world, across genders, across cultures stop being strangers when they open up and share about their lives. I think that's the magic that keeps people connected and happy - nurturing relationships and sharing.

Through this love of connection, I write and perform short stories and poetry
